Carpooling
How carpooling works in Islamabad & Rawalpindi — cost, safety, women-only rides, coverage and more.
Good to know
Carpooling is a recurring arrangement between people travelling a similar route at a similar time. You register your route and timing; our team checks for compatible requests and contacts both sides before any introduction. Registration does not guarantee a match or seat.
Because a seat is booked by the month and the cost is split across the car, it is designed to be far cheaper than paying a solo fare every day. We confirm the exact monthly figure for your route on request — there are no invented prices.
Shared travel always requires personal judgement. We can request relevant documents and facilitate an introduction, but no check guarantees another person’s conduct. Speak first, confirm vehicle and identity details, meet publicly where practical, tell a trusted contact and use WhatsApp live-location sharing.
Yes. Women can request introductions only to female riders or drivers. Availability depends on compatible registrations for the same route and timing.
We cover Islamabad’s sectors and housing societies and the main Rawalpindi areas. Pick your area from the carpooling area pages, or just enter it in the form and we’ll match you on your corridor.
No — a taxi is a one-off ride. A carpool is a repeating monthly arrangement shared with the same small group, which is exactly why it can be cheaper, more predictable and more sociable.
You tell us your home area, your office area and your timing. Our team checks for compatible rider or driver requests on the same corridor, then contacts both sides before an introduction. Participants agree the monthly cost directly. You then share the ride with the same small group each day.
Any campus in Islamabad and Rawalpindi — NUST (H-12), International Islamic University (H-10), NUML, Quaid-i-Azam University, COMSATS, Bahria, Air University and more. Tell us your campus and home area and our team checks for compatible requests on that route.
The preference is limited to prospective female riders and drivers. Our team contacts you only when a compatible female registration may be available.
It is a closed route group for the staff of one organisation only — colleagues from the same areas share agreed rides on set routes. HR can offer it as a low-cost staff benefit instead of running a company fleet.
Instead of paying a full transfer fare on your own, you split one vehicle with other travellers heading to or from the airport at a similar time from your area. We confirm the shared price on request.
Parents should check the driver’s CNIC, licence and vehicle details before agreeing to any route, parents share the group, and parents should use WhatsApp live-location sharing so you know when your child arrives. A female driver or attendant can be requested.

Tell us your area, destination and timing — and whether you need a seat or can offer one. Our team records your request, checks for compatible enquiries and contacts you before sharing any details. A match, seat and monthly cost are confirmed only when suitable participants are available.
