Pick on passengers and luggage first, then on badge. A 7-seater with four people and their bags beats a sedan every time.

Delivery and collection points across the twin cities. Most businesses will bring the car to you rather than have you travel to a yard.

Tell us what you need

One short form. A real person replies with availability and a fixed all-in price — usually within minutes during working hours.

We are not a booking engine that shows you a rate and leaves you to it. Your enquiry goes to local rental businesses we have already dealt with, and you get one consolidated answer rather than five phone calls.

Include your dates, whether you want a driver, roughly how many passengers and luggage, and anywhere outside the twin cities you plan to go. Those four details are enough for a firm quote rather than an estimate.

Car rental in Islamabad — common questions

Taxi on a daily city route in Islamabad
Should I rent with a driver or drive myself?

With a driver is the usual choice for visitors, overseas Pakistanis and anyone heading north. Islamabad traffic is manageable but the hill roads to Murree, Nathia Gali and beyond are narrow, busy in season and unforgiving in poor weather — and a local driver removes parking and directions entirely. Self-drive makes sense if you already drive in Pakistan, want the car overnight, and can meet the licence and deposit requirements.

Can a foreign visitor rent and drive a car here?

Self-drive is possible but the requirements are stricter: businesses typically want a passport, a valid licence — an International Driving Permit alongside your home licence is the safest combination — and a larger deposit. Many visitors find with-driver hire both cheaper once fuel and parking are counted, and considerably less stressful on unfamiliar roads.

How far in advance should I book?

A day or two is usually enough for a standard sedan in the city. Book earlier for automatics, 7-seaters, 4x4s for northern trips, and anything over Eid or the summer hill-station season, when the larger vehicles go first and the choice narrows quickly.

Is monthly rental cheaper than booking day by day?

Materially, yes — monthly rates are the standard arrangement for people relocating to Islamabad, on long project postings, or waiting on their own car. The break-even usually arrives well before thirty days, so if you know you need a car for several weeks it is worth asking for a monthly figure rather than extending a daily booking.

Can I take a rental car to Murree, Naran or Gilgit-Baltistan?

Usually, but tell us before you book rather than after. Northern travel affects which vehicle is suitable, the mileage allowance and sometimes the deposit — and a 4x4 is the sensible choice beyond the metalled hill roads. Some businesses restrict certain vehicles from the highest routes, which is far better to know in advance.

What is included in the quoted price?

We confirm one all-in figure in writing covering the vehicle, the agreed days and — on with-driver hire — the driver and their expenses. Fuel treatment, mileage allowance and any deposit are stated on the same quote, so there is no separate conversation about them when you collect the car.
